Bangor Pier

Bangor Garth Pier stretches 460m out from mainland Wales, towards Anglesey. First opened in 1896, it is now a Grade II Listed structure, and on a sunny day it is a great place to stroll, eat ice cream, and take in the views along the Menai Strait - thinking back to the times when Steamers full of tourists used it to visit Bangor.
